Privacy Policy — Channel Attribution BV

1) Who we are​

Channel Attribution BV (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the controller responsible for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

3) Personal data we process​

Depending on how you use our website and services, we may process:

  • Contact data (e.g., name, email address, and the content of your message) when you contact us.
  • Online identifiers and technical data (e.g., device/browser information, pages/events) when you browse our website and you consent to analytics cookies.

Note: Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and for EU users it drops any IP addresses it collects before logging.

We do not use social media plugins on our website.

4) Children under 16​

Our website and services are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without parental/guardian consent.
If you believe we collected personal data from a minor, contact us at info@channelattribution.io and we will delete it.

We process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases (GDPR):

a) Responding to inquiries / providing our services​

  • Legal basis: performance of a contract and/or legitimate interests
  • Data: name, email, message content

b) Service communications (e.g., administrative or operational messages)​

  • Legal basis: performance of a contract and/or legitimate interests
  • Data: name, email

c) Website analytics (GA4) to improve the website​

  • Legal basis: consent (via cookie banner)
  • Data: usage/event data, device/browser information, online identifiers (cookies/consent signals)

6) Automated decision-making​

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals.

7) Retention (how long we keep data)​

We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes described above.

Typical retention periods:

  • Contact requests / support correspondence: up to [e.g., 12–24 months] after the last interaction (unless a longer period is required to handle disputes or legal obligations).
  • Google Analytics 4 data: according to our GA4 settings (typically 2 months or 14 months for user-level retention).

8) Sharing personal data with third parties​

We share personal data only when necessary to operate the website and provide services, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights.

Analytics provider (GA4)​

We use Google Analytics 4, provided in the EEA by Google Ireland Limited. Google’s address (EEA contracting entity) is:
Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

  • Purpose: website measurement and improvement
  • Data: online identifiers (cookies/consent signals), device/browser information, usage/event data
  • IP addresses: not logged or stored; EU IP addresses are dropped before logging

International transfers​

Depending on configuration and support operations, data may be transferred outside the EEA. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

9) Cookies and similar technologies​

We use cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies (required for the website to work).
  • Analytics cookies (GA4) only after your consent via our cookie banner.

You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner preferences (e.g., by reopening the consent banner / settings).
You can also delete or block cookies using your browser settings.

10) Your rights​

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your data
  • correct your data
  • delete your data
  • restrict processing
  • object to processing (where applicable)
  • withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
  • data portability (where applicable)

To exercise your rights, email info@channelattribution.io. We respond as soon as possible and in any case within one month (extendable where legally permitted).

Identity verification: If necessary, we may request verification. If you provide a copy of an ID, please redact your photo, MRZ, document number, and any national identification number.

11) Complaints​

You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens):

12) Security​

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, and alteration, including (as appropriate):

  • TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit
  • access controls and least-privilege permissions
  • logging/monitoring and security updates
  • backup and recovery procedures
